If you are planning to come to Los Angeles for the 2002 FANHS Conference, here are a few tips to help you have an enjoyable time.

Weather
According to weather.com the average temperature around LMU in the month of July is 69 degrees with a high of 75 and a low of 62. LMU is near the coast so it tends to get cool in the evenings. Consider bringing a light jacket or warm sweater for late afternoon and early evening events. Also think about bringing sunscreen lotion, sunglasses and lip balm.

Bring Comfortable Shoes
Expect to do quite a bit of walking in order to get around the LMU campus. There will also be a free shuttle service available for conference attendees.

Don't Forget Your Camera
You never know who you might see at the national conference.

Banquet Theme
The banquet will have a Filipiniana theme. Please bring formal attire with the theme in mind.

Food
There are two places to get food on the LMU Campus:

• Main cafeteria for breakfast, lunch and dinner
